this weeks question:

"What book-to-movie adaption have you most liked?  Which have you disliked?"

My answer would be ..... I'll start with the most disliked because thats the one that first comes to mind I disliked the movie adaptation of twilight the books are good... sorry there not good there amazing (yes i am a twilight lover) but the movie just doesnt do the book justice. Now a movie adaptation that I liked would be .Im trying to think of one and cant really i guess i havent read a book yet that the movie has been better for example.I think the harry potter movies where very well done but  the books are  better. But if i ever see a book turned into movie that was better that book ill be sure to blog about it

Switch by carol snow

 Switch by carol snow

oficial resume :Claire Martin has some serious body issues.
Ever since Claire hit her teens, electrical storms have been making her switch bodies. Usually she's back to her old self in no time. But when something goes terribly wrong, she finds herself stuck in the fabulous body—and life—of Larissa, the icy blonde beauty who has caught the eye of Nate, Claire's longtime crush.
Will Claire ever figure out how to get her old life back? And, more importantly, will she even want to?
my resume : Claire martin is a pretty normal girl, oh yeah except the fact that every thunder storm or electrical charge she changes bodys the changes usually only last a day but this time something is diferent .Meanwhile her crush nate is  in love with this new girl larissa.

Switch was a not a very good book. Im not saying the writing was bad it wasn't just the plot kind of didn't pull me in. If you've ever read the book gifted (the first in the series) the principal is pretty much the same but the way the author writes the first book in the gifted series is amazing but this(switch) book is just so so the characters are well developed but sometimes the point of view change, witch is pretty cool and they didn't overuse the change of views witch I don't really like they just switched views from time to time .

At the end of the book my reaction was well that wasn't very good it wasn't the worst book ive ever read and if I hadn't read the gifted book before i probably would have liked it more, but compared to other books I could have read and the other books ive read with this plotline and everything else this book was not very good. So if you're in a mood for a fast read and have never read a book with the plotline of switching bodies than read this book and the try gifted witch i don't have reviewed because I read before I started my blog if you have read a book with body switching before you might be a bit disappointed.

P.S I hate having to write bad reviews but this is my honest opinion and some people might really enjoy this book for example my friend read tis book and liked it. There's lots of things I didn't like but some parts of the book I did really enjoy like I said before the characters where really well developed. And the romance good.

iron queen by julie kagawa

 Iron queen by Julie Kagawa

official resume :My name is Meghan Chase.I thought it was over. That my time with the fey, the impossible choices I had to make, the sacrifices of those I loved, was behind me. But a storm is approaching, an army of Iron fey that will drag me back, kicking and screaming. Drag me away from the banished prince who's sworn to stand by my side. Drag me into the core of conflict so powerful, I'm not sure anyone can survive it.
This time, there will be no turning back.
My resume :megan has been though alot  and just wants a normal life with ash but the fake iron king has something else in mind this time theres no going back

_________________________________
iron queen where to start, it was a great book julie kagawa is an amazing writter. This series is one of those series that when you get your hand on one of the books you but the other books youre reading down and startto read right away.Julie kagawas iron fey series did not disapoint. It had the same qualities of love ,betrayal ,adventure mysterie you get the idea there where also many twists in this book I was really happy with this book even though it`s the third book it still pulled me right in this series and the iron queen book are a must read.

To add to my review here are some things I loved in this book and some things not so much at the end I wont say what happens (wouldn't want to spoil)I was like no there's no way it can`t happen this way NOOO and the ending completely took me by suprise. In this book she presented more carathers and went into depth in some characters of witch we saw less of witch I really enjoyed because the story did not concentrate on those characters but just had there storie but in as part of the main plot. I don't know why but i am completely attached to the grimliking that hangs out with megan alot I found he was just so adorable. Im really excited for the next book in this series though if im right the next book will focus on ash and his adventure with puck im interested to know what ash has in plan if puck will find love and im looking for more wity humor from puck.

So all this to say go read this book it`s really worth the read

City of fallen angels countdown

City fallen angels count down ok so probably most of you already know is that city of fallen angels is coming out in 2 days the 5th of april. So to help let people know about the book and help other people get excited about the book here are some exerpts from the books some information about the book ect..

Number one did you know that there is a special edition of city of fallen angels coming out.It features a letter to jace from clary. It`s going to be written on a piece of paper that will look like parchement and with jaces writting witch i thik is pretty awesome. If u can`t understand my explanation heres a explanation directly from cassandras clares site.

In City of Glass, Book 3 of The Mortal Instruments series, Jace leaves a letter in Clary's room before he leaves for a life-threatening mission. The content of this letter has been the subject of much speculation among Mortal Instruments fans, but it has never been revealed until now. In the B&N exclusive version of CITY OF FALLEN ANGELS, Jace's letter to Clary will be enclosed in the book as a separate piece, designed to look as if it was handwritten on stationery."
this special copy will be reconised with a golden sticker on the top that says jaces letter to clary inside it will be sold at in canada  it will be sold at chapters and indigo and in barnes and nobles in the us if i am correct and i just read on cassandras claire blog that it will also be sold in australia at a store called  booktopia

Next

Go to http://www.mortalinstruments.com/videos.php for 10 things that are not going to happen in city of fallen angels.

Did you know that there are 2 more books after city of fallen angels. Theres city of lost souls and city of heavenly fire awesome right. It`s always best when a great series keeps going of course at some points if the story keeps going the story gets kind of boring. But i really doubt that will happen with this series it`s just too awesome :)

Want a map of the city that the institute is in for the first three books city of bones city of ashes and city of glass click here

click here for a map of books of infernal devices
click her for some deleted scenes of the infernal devices

you know what instead of just going to all the links just go to cassandra claires site http://cassandraclare.com .You can read here some sneak peeks of the books both city of fallen angels and the next book in the mortal intruments series.

So who else is excited for city of fallen angels.
Im sure i am.

nightshade by andrea cremer

 Nightshade

official resume:

Calla Tor has always known her destiny: After graduating from the Mountain School, she’ll be the mate of sexy alpha wolf Ren Laroche and fight with him, side by side, ruling their pack and guarding sacred sites for the Keepers. But when she violates her masters’ laws by saving a beautiful human boy out for a hike, Calla begins to question her fate, her existence, and the very essence of the world she has known. By following her heart, she might lose everything - including her own life. Is forbidden love worth the ultimate sacrifice?

my resume:calla has always know her life  she has been engaged to ren the day she was born but then shay shows up
and now shes questioning everything  she ver knew

 ________________________________
This is the great thing about a book blog one you can share your love of books two you can rant about a book and the people who read that certain rant understand it so with that i think you saw this coming i shall rant a bit about this book now this book was awesometastic(i know that is not a word)but the end was just so frustrating SPOILER ALERT i was so angry that after all calla has done for shay he still left her there i know from the little conversation she over heard that he will be back but to leave her there then the second side of it who exactly is shay and are his ``powers`` and who really are the searchers to be honest when they found out that the keepers were not to be trusted i thought they would go to the searchers for help but they didn't so im pretty sure there nice i just wish shay would have explained to the searchers how much calla did i would bet that the searchers would have let her stay END OF SPOILER

so now onto the review nightshade was a great book and was really easy to get pulled into and hard to stop reading and daydreaming about in this book romance action and life were perfectly balanced even though this series was about werewolves personally i thought that with all the other plots going on that if they took out the werewolves and replaced them with something else the story would be as good it really was a great read very well written and good for lots of various group of ages so a 13 year old would love it but so would someone a lot older too so here is my final word on this book and a little tip if you start this book make sure you have a lot of time to read because it is hard to put down and i would recommend you to. read despite all the great things about this book (sorry i said my last word guess i have more to say )it does not make my top 10 because at some points it was a little slow so for my final final note read it i really think paranormal lovers and or romance lovers and or mystery book lovers will devour this book if your all three of those kind of book lovers well good look

p.s this is the flower called nightshade isn`t it beauiful

sea change by aimee friedman

 Sea Change by Aimee Friedman

official resume :Sixteen-year-old Miranda Merchant is great at science--and not so great with boys. After a major drama with her boyfriend and (now ex) best friend, she is happy to spend the summer on small, mysterious Selkie Island, helping her mother sort out her late grandmother's estate. Then, Miranda finds new friends and an island with a mysterious, mystical history, presenting her with facts that her logical, scientific mind can't make sense of. She also meets Leo, who challenges everything she thought she knew about boys, friendship...and reality. Is Leo hiding something? Or is he something she could've never imagined? Then, Miranda finds new friends and an island with a mysterious, mystical history, presenting her with facts that her logical, scientific mind can't make sense of. She also meets Leo, who challenges everything she thought she knew about boys, friendship...and reality. Is Leo hiding something? Or is he something she could've never imagined?

my resume:
miranda is a very rational so when she is sent to selkie island  and stuff start to get weird she has to  make sens of every thing going on (but the story is much more complex than that)

 _________________________________

Sea change was a griping book filled with romance i loved how the town had it`s mysteries but it wasn`t ones that make you say come on get to the point the secrets add to the plot and though you do want to know what this secret is you can still read on calmly whitout it bugging you there was all the elements of a fantasy present for a ya novel most probably derected to girls hot guys, mysterie magic both unreal an real(as in the magic of love....i know kinda cheesy but still it`s true)and rivals once i finished this book the first thing that popped in my mind was no there has to be a sequel so you know by that that it was a teriific book another fact that i found really interesting was that the island was seperated in two parts not only in the mental sense as in there was a invisible line but in the physical sense too there were different categories kind of like royalty and peasants .

I really liked how the author made us discover the character and how she made the character understand herself so she found out who she really was and her beliefs in life at the same time we did it makes it better to follow the story and really makes you feel for the characters

to conclude a good book 4-stars on 5 a must read and if your a fan of romance ,the paranormal, and life in general you will devour this book

iron daughter by julie kagawa

Iron Daughter by Julie Kagawa

official resume:Half Summer faery princess, half human, Meghan has never fit in anywhere. Deserted by the Winter prince she thought loved her, she is prisoner to the Winter faery queen. As war looms between Summer and Winter, Meghan knows that the real danger comes from the Iron fey—ironbound faeries that only she and her absent prince have seen. But no one believes her.Worse, Meghan's own fey powers have been cut off. She's stuck in Faery with only her wits for help. Trusting anyone would be foolish. Trusting a seeming traitor could be deadly. But even as she grows a backbone of iron, Meghan can't help but hear the whispers of longing in her all-too-human heart.

my resume : megan is living a pretty normal life except for the fact that her dad died and she now has a step dad but when a mysterious person is watching her from afar and her childhood friend becomes very protective of her she imbarks on a journey in a other world full of poeple and secrets incovered that she never new

______________________________________
Puck ash puck ash puck ash ahhhhh i don`t know who im voting for there both awesome this story had alot of good hype about it so i read it and fully understand the hype it`s a great book maybe not in my top ten favorite books but pretty (beaver) damn close i think in this last year i have really grown a liking to the fey and this book only adds to it i also like how the author adds a reference to Shakespeare because of puck and the fairies courts so needless to say after all that that the book was very good the plot was original in one way and not original in the other but still made you gasp with no way while reading as much as some parts were very predictable that did not affect it at all it was predictable but since other events were happening and that the story changed courses so many times it really did not matter the main character was really nice and easy to relate to but at some points the teenage attitude was a bit ridiculous but most of the time she captured it well but i think the author did a great job in writing this book and i can`t wait to read iron daughter

“Love, blood, betrayal and revenge — the stakes are higher than ever in City of Fallen Angels. Simon Lewis is having some trouble adjusting to his new life as a vampire, especially now that he hardly sees his best friend Clary, who is caught up in training to be a Shadowhunter—and spending time with her new boyfriend Jace. Not to mention that Simon doesn’t quite know how to handle the pressure of not-quite-dating two girls at once. What’s a daylight-loving vampire to do? Simon decides he needs a break and heads out of the city—only to discover that sinister events are following him. Realizing that the war they thought they’d won might not yet be over, Simon has to call on his Shadowhunter friends to save the day — if they can put their own splintering relationships on hold long enough to rise to the challenge.”

Undine by Penni Russon

 Undine

Official resume :Undine gets along well with her unconventional mother, she adores her baby brother, and she has a devoted kindred spirit in her best friend and next-door neighbor, Trout. It's inconvenient that Trout has a sloppy crush on her, but Undine tries to overlook this. Undine is basically satisfied . . . until strange things begin happening to her.      It starts with an odd feeling, a shadow in the mirror, a whisper only Undine can hear: It's time to come home. And it builds. One hot day, when Undine imagines knitting together a few scattered clouds, she creates a massive thunderstorm.      Who is Undine? Where does her power come from? What is she meant to do? Undine needs answers to these questions, so she sets off in search of a father she'd always believed was dead and a self she's only beginning to discover. But Undine's magic is powerful, wild, and dangerous -- and her feelings as she uncovers the truth are even fiercer. Will Undinee find herself or lose herself . . . and everyone she loves?

My resume:undine has a good life a mother she loves  a baby brother she also loves and a best friend who wants to be something more but when strange feelings and things start hapening to her she starts uncovering the truth about her and the sea

 ___________________________________

the dictionary would describe undine as a mythical sea creature also know as a sea nimph(omg original way to start hit`s herself in the head) but this undine is a carasmatic girl that i enjoyed very much at some points she was extremely sweet but on the snap of a thinger she could hold dark thoughts that she isn`t able to control this was a eery good book from the very first page to the very last it is a story of mystery magic and romance and there was just enough of every aspect to make it perfectly balanced all the love interest's in the book was very well described I also enjoyed how the point of view changed but did not change continuously for example the main caracter was undine but she let you in to her friends mind maybe 6 time throwout the book to know what was really going in his head witch helped you follow and understand the story a bit more

the plot was also good i do say this in almost every review but it`s true you expected the plot to go in this direction but i went completely in the other direction the author certainly suprised you.great book worth reading

Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins

  Hex Hall
Official resume :
Three years ago, Sophie Mercer discovered that she was a witch. It's gotten her into a few scrapes. Her non-gifted mother has been as supportive as possible, consulting Sophie's estranged father--an elusive European warlock--only when necessary. But when Sophie attracts too much human attention for a prom-night spell gone horribly wrong, it's her dad who decides her punishment: exile to Hex Hall, an isolated reform school for wayward Prodigium, a.k.a. witches, faeries, and shapeshifters. By the end of her first day among fellow freak-teens, Sophie has quite a scorecard: three powerful enemies who look like supermodels, a futile crush on a gorgeous warlock, a creepy tagalong ghost, and a new roommate who happens to be the most hated person and only vampire on campus. Worse, Sophie soon learns that a mysterious predator has been attacking students, and her only friend is the number-one suspect.
As a series of blood-curdling mysteries starts to converge, Sophie prepares for the biggest threat of all: an ancient secret society determined to destroy all Prodigium, especially her.

My resume:  sophie discovered  shes a witch and since then she has changed schools many times  due to "accidents" so then her dad sends her to a reform school for mythicl beings there's fairies and witches/warlocks and also were people and theres one more being and only one a vampire who just happens to be her room mate and who has secrets and so do many of the people she will meet during her time at school and not only there secrets but secrets she never knew about herself
 ______________________________

Hex hall ok number one i hate the ending why not because it wasn`t well written no but because I really don`t want the main character to do what she wants to at the end omg it was just so ahhh(lot`s more jibberish when i just finished the books )yes i did not agree with the end and will definately read the next book to see if SPOILER she goes with the removale maybe some of you want her to go throw with it but i definately do not because she can definately control her inner demoness and idk maybe go and become one of the eye with archer maybe they aren`t that bad you never know one thing you must know about books expect the unexpected like in city of ashes they all think werewolf are bad(BAD DOG LOL about page 20) but there actually nice creatures trying to rescue clairy!!!! ok yes i am kind of on a rat but I am in the at school typing and i don`t see anybody i know to tell all this to so im dumping it on you fellow blogger or reader ok now that i got that out .onto the review

As you can see from my little rant there the book was good it really made you care about the caracters and care about there decisions the book was very well written it was a book that i would recomend to all my friends but not a book that i went WOW!!!!!!so a great book but not amazing i would of liked a bit more romance but with all the awesomeness going on I see how it would be hard to fit it in there but the romance that was put in was great forbiden love(never gets old) and a hotty with a swimmers body(as my friend would say) -_^ the ending was cliff hanger _______ made the book hard to put down and had more than one event that made you gasp with awww and sometimes say things like no (freaki-cough)way but thats the amazing part of a good book no? the caracters are lovable but also hateble and you really feel like their decision is an problem to you.

To conclude this review read this book you won't regret it and will be on your heels waiting for the sequel

enjoy your reading

radiant darkness by Emilie whitman

Radiance darkness

official resume :
He smiles. "Hello."
It's a deep voice. I can feel it reverberate in my chest and echo all the way down to my toes.
I know I should leave, but I don't want to. I want to keep my senses like this forever. I'm all eye, all ear, all skin.
Persephone lives in the most gorgeous place in the world. But her mother's a goddess, as overprotective as she is powerful. Paradise has become a trap. Just when Persephone feels there's no chance of escaping the life that's been planned for her, a mysterious stranger arrives. A stranger who promises something more—something dangerous and exciting—something that spurs Persephone to make a daring choice. A choice that could destroy all she's come to love, even the earth itself.
In a land where a singing river can make you forget your very name, Persephone is forced to discover who—and what—she really is.

My resume: persephone lives in a valley with the most beautiful scenerie but shes not happy shes been stuck in this valley her whole life and her mom still treats her like a child in this valley there is no man and talking about man could get her friends thrown out of the vally for vulgar behaviour when her mom leaves for another of her "jobs"witch persephone is not aloud to attend a mysterious man apears for the second time in the valley then some roman starts to act up and so starts the story

___________________________

radiance darkness was one of those books that everytime I went to the library the name interested me and every time I deicided to read something else boy was I wrong  to do that I really liked this book it was a  retelling of and old myth about the gods but the godess turned into something cool and fully romantic

the way the author describes hades is amazing in this story hes not just the usual evil manipulative god of of the dead but hes a romantic and hot god of the dead  that cares deeply for his queen I absolutely adored it  this book has romance life aspect and nature as in that persephone  loves nature  and do I to so I enjoyed that also

even though as I mentioned it was based on a myth it was very creative I would definately read the next book if there was one the plot line was interesting and the book was a definite page turner

i would give this book 4 stars out of five

Warrior princess by Frewin jones

warrior princess

official resume :Princess Branwen ap Griffith is fifteen when her brother is murdered by the savage Saxons, who have been closing in on her family's home in their quest for land and riches. Branwen’s brother's death is a symbol of their heightened aggression. Though Branwen loathes the thought of backing down from the job of defending her home, she allows her parents to send her away to allies who will be able to keep her safe.

But Branwen is not prepared for the wave of hostility that meets her when she arrives at her allies' stronghold, where women have no place hunting or fighting, and she is forbidden from doing anything the lady of the land deems unladylike. Branwen longs for her home and for the chance to fight, but she still isn't prepared to accept her fate as a warrior, even when an encounter with a woman clad in white foretells a choice Branwen will have to make—one with devastating consequences. When all that she holds dear hangs in the balance, Branwen will have to choose to defy her elders and take a chance, or do as is expected of her and risk losing everything.

my resume: branwen is a princess of a kingdom of warriors when her brother is killed she is sent to another kindom to be kept safe she must decide her destiny

__________________________
this was a great book I know I always start with that but it's almost always true. So this was a great book with a great plot line though I think personally that this book was just a book leading up to the next one even though when you read this book it kind of shows, once you passed about page 60 you don't want to put the book down I can't wait to read the next book .

the plot was really great and the romance was lacking in this book witch I was kind of dispointed about but it was still present the ending to me seemed kind of rushed but still really well discribed

it's also very interesting watching the main caracther evolove into a warrior princess so to conclude it's a great book and i can't wait to read the next book

clair de lune by Christine johnson

oficial resume :Torn between two destinies? Claire is having the perfect sixteenth birthday. Her pool party is a big success, and gorgeous Matthew keeps chatting and flirting with her as if she's the only girl there. But that night, she discovers something that takes away all sense of normalcy: she's a werewolf.
As Claire is initiated into the pack of female werewolves, she must deal not only with her changing identity, but also with a rogue werewolf who is putting everyone she knows in danger. Claire's new life threatens her blossoming romance with Matthew, whose father is leading the werewolf hunt. Now burdened with a dark secret and pushing the boundaries of forbidden love, Claire is struggling to feel comfortable in either skin. With her lupine loyalty at odds with her human heart, she will make a choice that will change her forever?.

my resume:claire is a pretty normal girl she's pretty popular has a crush and a best friend beside her mom being never home and having a nanny her life is normal till one day at her 16th birthday pool party a wolf is seen in the woods close to her house and thats when everything changes.

clair de lune was a very good book I enjoyed it it was a book full of thing you could relate to and stuff you couldn't but were excited to get to know the story was centered around werewolfs and the challenges of love since i absolutely adore both werewolfs and romance this was a good book for me

the main caracter clair was really nice and she grew on you during the book the plot could of been a bit more unique because this was kind of a thing i would suspect but definately worth reading the werewoles were unique so it was a nice change it was more of a ritual ans something i guess a bit like twilight (the werewoles i mean)and the other aspect SPOLIER that they were all girls made me kind of wish at a couple of times that there were boy werewolves like idk something like her crush is the only boy werewolf or something I know it's really clicher but it is what I thought at least 3 or 4 times during the book then when I finally let it go I really apreciated the change.

so an amazing book worth reading XD
