City of Fallen Angels is the fourth book in the bestselling series The Mortal Instruments.

“Love, blood, betrayal and revenge — the stakes are higher than ever in City of Fallen Angels. Simon Lewis is having some trouble adjusting to his new life as a vampire, especially now that he hardly sees his best friend Clary, who is caught up in training to be a Shadowhunter—and spending time with her new boyfriend Jace. Not to mention that Simon doesn’t quite know how to handle the pressure of not-quite-dating two girls at once. What’s a daylight-loving vampire to do? Simon decides he needs a break and heads out of the city—only to discover that sinister events are following him. Realizing that the war they thought they’d won might not yet be over, Simon has to call on his Shadowhunter friends to save the day — if they can put their own splintering relationships on hold long enough to rise to the challenge.”

Undine by Penni Russon

 Undine

Official resume :Undine gets along well with her unconventional mother, she adores her baby brother, and she has a devoted kindred spirit in her best friend and next-door neighbor, Trout. It's inconvenient that Trout has a sloppy crush on her, but Undine tries to overlook this. Undine is basically satisfied . . . until strange things begin happening to her.      It starts with an odd feeling, a shadow in the mirror, a whisper only Undine can hear: It's time to come home. And it builds. One hot day, when Undine imagines knitting together a few scattered clouds, she creates a massive thunderstorm.      Who is Undine? Where does her power come from? What is she meant to do? Undine needs answers to these questions, so she sets off in search of a father she'd always believed was dead and a self she's only beginning to discover. But Undine's magic is powerful, wild, and dangerous -- and her feelings as she uncovers the truth are even fiercer. Will Undinee find herself or lose herself . . . and everyone she loves?

My resume:undine has a good life a mother she loves  a baby brother she also loves and a best friend who wants to be something more but when strange feelings and things start hapening to her she starts uncovering the truth about her and the sea

 ___________________________________

the dictionary would describe undine as a mythical sea creature also know as a sea nimph(omg original way to start hit`s herself in the head) but this undine is a carasmatic girl that i enjoyed very much at some points she was extremely sweet but on the snap of a thinger she could hold dark thoughts that she isn`t able to control this was a eery good book from the very first page to the very last it is a story of mystery magic and romance and there was just enough of every aspect to make it perfectly balanced all the love interest's in the book was very well described I also enjoyed how the point of view changed but did not change continuously for example the main caracter was undine but she let you in to her friends mind maybe 6 time throwout the book to know what was really going in his head witch helped you follow and understand the story a bit more

the plot was also good i do say this in almost every review but it`s true you expected the plot to go in this direction but i went completely in the other direction the author certainly suprised you.great book worth reading

Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins

  Hex Hall
Official resume :
Three years ago, Sophie Mercer discovered that she was a witch. It's gotten her into a few scrapes. Her non-gifted mother has been as supportive as possible, consulting Sophie's estranged father--an elusive European warlock--only when necessary. But when Sophie attracts too much human attention for a prom-night spell gone horribly wrong, it's her dad who decides her punishment: exile to Hex Hall, an isolated reform school for wayward Prodigium, a.k.a. witches, faeries, and shapeshifters. By the end of her first day among fellow freak-teens, Sophie has quite a scorecard: three powerful enemies who look like supermodels, a futile crush on a gorgeous warlock, a creepy tagalong ghost, and a new roommate who happens to be the most hated person and only vampire on campus. Worse, Sophie soon learns that a mysterious predator has been attacking students, and her only friend is the number-one suspect.
As a series of blood-curdling mysteries starts to converge, Sophie prepares for the biggest threat of all: an ancient secret society determined to destroy all Prodigium, especially her.

My resume:  sophie discovered  shes a witch and since then she has changed schools many times  due to "accidents" so then her dad sends her to a reform school for mythicl beings there's fairies and witches/warlocks and also were people and theres one more being and only one a vampire who just happens to be her room mate and who has secrets and so do many of the people she will meet during her time at school and not only there secrets but secrets she never knew about herself
 ______________________________

Hex hall ok number one i hate the ending why not because it wasn`t well written no but because I really don`t want the main character to do what she wants to at the end omg it was just so ahhh(lot`s more jibberish when i just finished the books )yes i did not agree with the end and will definately read the next book to see if SPOILER she goes with the removale maybe some of you want her to go throw with it but i definately do not because she can definately control her inner demoness and idk maybe go and become one of the eye with archer maybe they aren`t that bad you never know one thing you must know about books expect the unexpected like in city of ashes they all think werewolf are bad(BAD DOG LOL about page 20) but there actually nice creatures trying to rescue clairy!!!! ok yes i am kind of on a rat but I am in the at school typing and i don`t see anybody i know to tell all this to so im dumping it on you fellow blogger or reader ok now that i got that out .onto the review

As you can see from my little rant there the book was good it really made you care about the caracters and care about there decisions the book was very well written it was a book that i would recomend to all my friends but not a book that i went WOW!!!!!!so a great book but not amazing i would of liked a bit more romance but with all the awesomeness going on I see how it would be hard to fit it in there but the romance that was put in was great forbiden love(never gets old) and a hotty with a swimmers body(as my friend would say) -_^ the ending was cliff hanger _______ made the book hard to put down and had more than one event that made you gasp with awww and sometimes say things like no (freaki-cough)way but thats the amazing part of a good book no? the caracters are lovable but also hateble and you really feel like their decision is an problem to you.

To conclude this review read this book you won't regret it and will be on your heels waiting for the sequel

enjoy your reading

radiant darkness by Emilie whitman

Radiance darkness

official resume :
He smiles. "Hello."
It's a deep voice. I can feel it reverberate in my chest and echo all the way down to my toes.
I know I should leave, but I don't want to. I want to keep my senses like this forever. I'm all eye, all ear, all skin.
Persephone lives in the most gorgeous place in the world. But her mother's a goddess, as overprotective as she is powerful. Paradise has become a trap. Just when Persephone feels there's no chance of escaping the life that's been planned for her, a mysterious stranger arrives. A stranger who promises something more—something dangerous and exciting—something that spurs Persephone to make a daring choice. A choice that could destroy all she's come to love, even the earth itself.
In a land where a singing river can make you forget your very name, Persephone is forced to discover who—and what—she really is.

My resume: persephone lives in a valley with the most beautiful scenerie but shes not happy shes been stuck in this valley her whole life and her mom still treats her like a child in this valley there is no man and talking about man could get her friends thrown out of the vally for vulgar behaviour when her mom leaves for another of her "jobs"witch persephone is not aloud to attend a mysterious man apears for the second time in the valley then some roman starts to act up and so starts the story

___________________________

radiance darkness was one of those books that everytime I went to the library the name interested me and every time I deicided to read something else boy was I wrong  to do that I really liked this book it was a  retelling of and old myth about the gods but the godess turned into something cool and fully romantic

the way the author describes hades is amazing in this story hes not just the usual evil manipulative god of of the dead but hes a romantic and hot god of the dead  that cares deeply for his queen I absolutely adored it  this book has romance life aspect and nature as in that persephone  loves nature  and do I to so I enjoyed that also

even though as I mentioned it was based on a myth it was very creative I would definately read the next book if there was one the plot line was interesting and the book was a definite page turner

i would give this book 4 stars out of five

warrior princess

official resume :Princess Branwen ap Griffith is fifteen when her brother is murdered by the savage Saxons, who have been closing in on her family's home in their quest for land and riches. Branwen’s brother's death is a symbol of their heightened aggression. Though Branwen loathes the thought of backing down from the job of defending her home, she allows her parents to send her away to allies who will be able to keep her safe.

But Branwen is not prepared for the wave of hostility that meets her when she arrives at her allies' stronghold, where women have no place hunting or fighting, and she is forbidden from doing anything the lady of the land deems unladylike. Branwen longs for her home and for the chance to fight, but she still isn't prepared to accept her fate as a warrior, even when an encounter with a woman clad in white foretells a choice Branwen will have to make—one with devastating consequences. When all that she holds dear hangs in the balance, Branwen will have to choose to defy her elders and take a chance, or do as is expected of her and risk losing everything.

my resume: branwen is a princess of a kingdom of warriors when her brother is killed she is sent to another kindom to be kept safe she must decide her destiny

this was a great book I know I always start with that but it's almost always true. So this was a great book with a great plot line though I think personally that this book was just a book leading up to the next one even though when you read this book it kind of shows, once you passed about page 60 you don't want to put the book down I can't wait to read the next book .

the plot was really great and the romance was lacking in this book witch I was kind of dispointed about but it was still present the ending to me seemed kind of rushed but still really well discribed

it's also very interesting watching the main caracther evolove into a warrior princess so to conclude it's a great book and i can't wait to read the next book

clair de lune by Christine johnson

oficial resume :Torn between two destinies? Claire is having the perfect sixteenth birthday. Her pool party is a big success, and gorgeous Matthew keeps chatting and flirting with her as if she's the only girl there. But that night, she discovers something that takes away all sense of normalcy: she's a werewolf.
As Claire is initiated into the pack of female werewolves, she must deal not only with her changing identity, but also with a rogue werewolf who is putting everyone she knows in danger. Claire's new life threatens her blossoming romance with Matthew, whose father is leading the werewolf hunt. Now burdened with a dark secret and pushing the boundaries of forbidden love, Claire is struggling to feel comfortable in either skin. With her lupine loyalty at odds with her human heart, she will make a choice that will change her forever?.

my resume:claire is a pretty normal girl she's pretty popular has a crush and a best friend beside her mom being never home and having a nanny her life is normal till one day at her 16th birthday pool party a wolf is seen in the woods close to her house and thats when everything changes.
 ________________________________

clair de lune was a very good book I enjoyed it it was a book full of thing you could relate to and stuff you couldn't but were excited to get to know the story was centered around werewolfs and the challenges of love since i absolutely adore both werewolfs and romance this was a good book for me

the main caracter clair was really nice and she grew on you during the book the plot could of been a bit more unique because this was kind of a thing i would suspect but definately worth reading the werewoles were unique so it was a nice change it was more of a ritual ans something i guess a bit like twilight (the werewoles i mean)and the other aspect SPOLIER that they were all girls made me kind of wish at a couple of times that there were boy werewolves like idk something like her crush is the only boy werewolf or something I know it's really clicher but it is what I thought at least 3 or 4 times during the book then when I finally let it go I really apreciated the change.

so an amazing book worth reading XD

my resume:jenn went to a vampire hunter school  after vampires have started to try and take possesion of eath her dad does not agree  with his daughters chocices and when her idol and granpa dies she goes back to her home town to give honor to him then things start to happen

 ______________________________

crusade was a good book everyone has a different opinion while reading books I really liked this book and am fairly sure that this will be a series there's no way it should end like it did if it was'nt a series so all that to say im not really looking forward to the second book not because the book wasn't good it's because I have many books I want to read before and it's not really a book im going to be on the edge of my seat waiting for but my friend on the other hand a (fellow book lover) can't wait for the next book but again it was a good book worth readin.

ok onto the review ok I hate being pecimist towards a book but I do have a couple of down points for this book there were some parts in the book that were kind of  "slow" and hard to get through as there were parts were you could not put the book down. The author introduced lots of caracters fast and its hard to remember them all at the beggining but I did get the hang of it after a while besides those two points it was good. Now onto the good parts of the book. The caracters were awesome once you got to know them the plot was also very good and unpredictable it's one of those books that you keep thinking about after you put it down. The discription the author but in was good but at some points too much or maybe thats because you want to know what happens next so the details just drag on .Thats all I have to say about this book despite the bad points it's still worth reading if you have time to spare.

________________________________

linger ok first things first i have just just finished this book and I have to say now WERE CAN I GET LINGER RIGHT NOW the ending was epic really suspencfull god how you people who had to wait for the next book must have felt I bow down to you I love those kind of endings as much as I hate them they make you enticapate the next book and also make you want to scream well what I do usually is go tell my friends about the book but they don`t read so when im done talking really fast about the book there all llike ya what r u talking about anyways when I finish a book like this I don`t care if my friends have no clue what im talking about it just has to come out hahaha ok now onto the review

linger was a great read it came from 2 perspectives sam and grace though you do kind of get the feel that grace is the main carathereven though they both have apoximately the same number of chapters dedicated to their point of view

caracters I loved were one sam he is just a lovable caracter you just cant help but love him and want to just jump in the story to confort him he also sounds like he is pretty deccent looking and the author describes him just perfectly second grace well she is basically the main caracter you get to know her throughout the book if anybody out there reading my blog those ot like grace please comment id be interested in knowing why of course at some points like at the end of the book your just hating her and screaming to the book DON`T DO IT(at least i was though i didn`t scream it out lound i was in the bus so ya) but when you find out the problem is solved later youre still happy for her(hihi i think i phrased that pretty well whithout spoiling anything)but other than that you start by pity then compassion the genuine loe for the caracter nicely thought I out if I do say so myself  another carcter i absolutely loved was brett he just seemed so sincere and awsome ya

ok plot line whise the plot line was good but i did find it could of have a bit more spins to it as in some other things happen i knoow there were some like jack and oliia but it could of haved more just my personal opinion other than that awsome werewolves are also a part of this because i absolutely love werewoles and vampires i probably wouldv,e liked it even if it was another mythical creature.to add to the laqst statement yes ittalks about werewolves but it a really great twist to it and even if you don`t like werewoles you will probably love this book anyways

so thats it great book go read it

Raven by allison van diepen

Raven by allison van diepen

raven was a very very very good book though the beginning was slow once you got to about page 100(this is really aproximate)
it got really interesting i read this book in one sitting !_! yes no joke !!!raven is a strong character and you never know what to aspect of her she can be really vulnerable at times and very strong at others zin is also an awesome character witch you can just imagine is just exploding with hotness(yummy) hes also a well planned out character but seriously all i could think of when he was in the scene is yumm ok that wasn't all i could think about but it is a major part of it (I thinks I should stop talking about this right now)

her brother is a real jerk ok more than a jerk(i don't know the right way to call it) and you know that Nicole(raven) is really depressed about this situation but the author could`ve gone more in details you didn't really feel Nicole pain but it was very clear that she was in despair over the incident for someone like me whop has never lived something like that(thank the lord)it was hard for me to relate due to lack of details

this book is pretty dark but not dark enough that it is hard to read(i haven't encountered any of those yet) and the author is clever so even at the ending tragedies happen so you never know if something will go wrong until the last page I do wish though that the ending was a bit longer by ending i mean the part where they live happily ever after basically more romance at the end of the book

spoliler(to read only after finishing the book)

at the begining when she was always referring to the gost it got kind of coonfusing first you thought she could she gosts then when her dad new about the gost and accepted it you thought well ok maybe it is this the persons name well finally i got it that it was in fact her brother who she decided to nickname in that way all im saying is that i could of been more clear

ok here is my confession i was secretly hoping that nicloe(raven) became a jin shing and i was also thinking that she would chose that to so the ending was really unecpected who could've guessed kim was a heng te I love it when the author throws something unecpected.

her brother is really sweet when he becomes a jin shing but your kind of thinking the whole while that the only reason he is a jin shing is because carlo wants raven witch is the reason

anyaways to conclude great book XD

blog hop #2

for those of you who don't know what the blog hop is it is tecnically a list full of links to blogs that talk about books for more explanation go to crazyforbooks

"What are your feelings on losing followers? Have you ever stopped following a blog?"

weird i was actually thinking about that this week when my followers went from 10 to 9 gasp lol jk though i do wonder why someone followed only to unfollow two days later weird maybe it`s because I did not follow that person back witch I think is kind of unreasonable(but btw if you comment I will for sure check your blog out if you leave your blog`s link at the end of the comment). I completely agree with the author of crazy for books and what she said for this weeks answer to the question. so I guess my answer is it`s not fun to lose followers it makes me sad lol but it is the persons choice whether they want to follow me or not.

to answer the second part of the question no i have never stopped following a blog mostly because I follow blogs that generally interest me and blogs I cant want to read more from. That I only started blogging 2 weeks ago has a part in that as well XD

i want to take this opportunity to thank all my followers it means ALOT ^_^

waiting on wednesday 1

  Waiting on Wednesdays(#1)

hello so here is my try at waiting on wednesday if i did something incorectly please mention it to me by leaving a comment and that`s about it but before my pick for this week here is a little random rant that has nothing to do with waiting on wednesday(well it kind of those have to do with it but...just read ^_^)

Waiting on Wednesdays is a sort of a releif(relevance should be a word) of torture and kind of inflicting torture on fellow bloggers(now wait let me explain myself).Because you get to tell the world about that book that's been nagging at you for a very long while and be relieved of knowing your not alone being tortured by this particular book. But the person reading this blog is now stuck with two epically awesome books to think about and we bloggers don't get angry at someone to have inflicted this torture on us, no we are addicted to it and love knowing what new books there are out there to drool over and torture us farther .Yes voila my rant but to tell you the truth it isn't really torture more like a extreme excitement and only this can describe how awesome an idea Waiting on Wednesday is : these word are so awsome you can`t even read them XD hihi ok here my pick for Waiting on Wednesday

 My thoughts:

well were to start as I am a fan of drawing and manga this book apealed to me personally. The book gamer girl was well written it was one of those book were you have to read about 50 pages to get into it but once you do you get can't help but care for the caracthers. It is also a book that mostly likely will associate to stuff you may have experienced yourself such as the stuggles of high school ,finding true friends, standing up for yourself, being true to yourself the list goes on.The book was well written and i would sugest you read this book if you are  fan of video games and or manga because the do talk about it alot though someone who likes school life stories or romance would probably really enjoy this book to.

the aspect of a virtual relasionship was very interesting and you could really see the romance between Alorra and SirLeo there was some romace but i would of liked a bit more romance personnaly but overall the romance is very lovely ^_^. Theres was also alot of forshadowing in this book and sometimes the answer to the questions are a bit too obvious but not so ovbious that theres no point in reading the books anymore if you get what i mean by that.In gamer girl Maddy starr the main caracther is struggling alot in this book the pressure of her parents divorce the bulling at school the feeling of having no one there for you.Maddy escapes this feeling with drawing and playing video games i thought that the concept of this story was very good overal a great read.XD

first post !!!!

Hello readers of this blog! First of all, thanks for reading this blog since this is my first blog of many more. I shall explain a few things.

1.Why I decided to make a blog: Well, my blog is mostly to review books. To say I read alot would be an understatement. I love to read and love giving reviews about the books I have read, and would love to share my opinions with whoever reads this blog (btw if you are reading this right now THANK YOU ). Umm that's mostly it.

2.I have obviously read many books before I started this blog and I may or may not review those books, but I do promise to try to review every book I read from now on ^_^ .

Ok, now on to the actual first official post

Yesterday, at the main library in Ottawa, there was an event called "Get Loud with Lesley Livingston". This activity was part of the first ever teen author week. Along the week, there are many authors that you can meet for free. Yesterday it was Lesley Livingston, author of "Wondrous Strange" and "Darklight". It started by her talking a bit then followed by a short reading of Wondrous Strange and Darklight. We spent more time discussing Wondrous Strange than Darklight because some people haven't read Darklight yet. I admit, I am one of those people, but I bought Darklight yesterday and am already loving it.

As you might know, the third and final book in this series is coming out soon (I have the count down clock on the side if you haven't seen it yet). The last book of this trilogy is "Tempestuous" and Lesley brought the ARC (advanced readers copy). After a bit of begging she read a little bit of the book to us. Like I said, I haven't read Darklight yet, but for those who have you will probably understand it more than me. Basically, Sonny is in a train and he doesn't really know were he's going. Then, this water creature asks him if he wants to get off at her stop because she's lost too and would'nt mind the company. That's all. But Lesley kind of tortured us by reading the last phrase of the chapter (I think it's chapter 2). I don't remember the actual words (sorry) but it was about how Sonny never thought he would die in such a stupid way ... I know intense stuff ._. After Lesley took some questions, there weren't that many questions, I asked a question and two more people did too.

After she finished talking, there was a book signing while some local bands played, hence the get loud part.  Anyways that was pretty it. All I can say is that it shows that Lesley Livingston is a performer. She is hilarious on stage and has a different voice for every character in her reading. It makes me want to listen to the audio books. She told us that she is currently working on recording Tempestuous and she says it is very hard to record an audio book. I can understand that talking non stop with different voices, from 10am to 6pm, must be hard.To continue on my previous thoughts, Lesley Livingston is a fun and very nice person. Meeting her in person just make me like the books even more. To conclude this long blog, I suggest you read Wondrous Strange.
